Hello,

my name is Isabelle Foulquier Biennes and my nickname is:Yza.

I' m very glad to welcome you  in Milhavet, a village where my

family house is eighty kms from Toulouse near Cordes sur Ciel and Albi.

In this village, there was my ancestor's house, 400 years, my parents gave

it to me as a legacy.

Since June 2014 (twenty forteen), I have been refurbishing it alone, to set up

a Guest House with guest rooms to welcome tourists.

 

My house and the village Milhavet:

Currently,I have 3 comfortable and nice rooms, I welcome tourists in Bed and

Breakfast and also I offer table-host for dinner with fresh vegetables of my garden,

and local greedy products.

 

My house is in a very quiet village, without shops. (The nearest shops are from 7

kms away), if you like Nature and if you are looking a calm environment, you can

walk around the village, you can see the little church, a forge which was used for

shoeing horses and steers .

 

I can show you too my grasslands and my truffle oaks 's plantation.

In winter, I look for truffles with a special dog and sell them.

If you like hiking, there is a treck about 22 kms long lasting approximatively seven hours.

 

Cordes sur Ciel and Albi

Near my home you can visit the two most famous cities of Tarn :

Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi.

Albi is 16 kms away, it's a lovely city (60 000 people) with its red

briccked houses, its famous cathedral, its Toulouse Lautrec 's museum.

You can also walk, eat or snack in the nice little pedestrian Streets and even make a boat ride on the Tarn river for 1 or 2 hours.

 

Cordes sur Ciel is 7 kms away, it is a little medieval city of the thirteenth

century with cobblestone and narrow streets.

On the top of the city you have wonderful sceneries of the country.

You can visit craft shops as leather works, Medieval illumination books,

chocolate maker, sugar museum and other.

 

Near my house there are the Gaillac's vineyards,

my cousin is a wine producer twoo kms from my house and if you want

he will glad to show you his winecellar and to taste his wines.

There is also an artisanal wisky's producer, with a little and famous production.

 

Week's program's example :

1st day : visiting Albi.

2nd day : visiting Cordes in the morning, sportive center 'lac de la Roucarié'

in the afternoon.

3rd day : walking in Milhavet, to visit the church, the forge and my grasslands.

4th day : Monesties with its medieval chapel, Carmaux (Mine's museum),

sportive center 'Cap Découverte'.

5th day : (from 30 kms) ' Les Bastides ' land of 3 fortified towns : Bruniquel, 

Puycelsi, Castelnau de Montmirail.

6th and 7th program according to your centers of interest.
